Adam Cvijanovic
Adam Cvijanovic based in New York City. He paints in large-scale format often using Tyvek sheeting as a substrate, which allows his work to be easily installed at multiple locations. His work is concerned with exposing the historical and enduring hubris of American culture, painting forms that depict the search for and physical manifestation of American power and success on a monumental scale.

Jacek Pałucha
Being an artist, a gardener and a philosopher, Jacek Pałucha started to learn painting when he was young. Following Prof. Wiesław Szamborski at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, and getting in touch with different art mediums, Jacek Pałucha exposed himself to different art genres.

Jon Ching’s upbringing in Hawaii instilled him indigenuous lessons of appreciation and respect for the beauty of nature, building the foundation of his fascination with the natural and wild world, oftenly appearing in his current work as a self-trained artist. Inspired by the interconnectedness of nature, his works in detailed realism, yet combined with the surreal imagining, reflects the limitless wonders that nature can produce.

Kacey Wong 黃國才
Born and working in Hong Kong, Kacey Wong was trained in both fine arts and architecture, dedicated to investigating the space between men and their living environment with a social intention through his experimental art practice. He thinks being an artist is similar to being a detective, the case in hand is to investigate the self. Most famous for his protest art, his works span from installation, performance, sculpture and sound.

Karlotta Freier
Telling the story through drawing on paper, Karlotta Freier is a visual narrator who uses illustration and cartoon to deliver the story. Her works comprise untold stories about real life events and personal fantasies that carry viewers into an intimate dimension, at the same time fully express herself through the use of an elaborated and tailor-made visual language.

Liu Di 柳迪
Liu Di is a Chinese artist who uses digitally manipulated photographs to investigate the friction between the natural world and urban residents in China. His images are composed of over-sized animals set in suburban settings like residential compounds, Hutong districts, and the scenes of demolished homes. He transforms the urban landscape into a surreal playground over which massive inflated animals tower, yet are confined by their surroundings.

Mindaugas Lukošaitis
Born in 1980, Lukošaitis is well-known for his drawings, but he is also good at sculptures and objects. Graduated from the Sculpture Department at the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2003, his works demonstrate the power of vision and imagination that allows having a sharper look at topics, which crashes people’s normal understanding towards different things.

Nick Brandt
Nick Brandt is an English photographer who focuses his work around humanity’s destruction of the natural world. Spending nearly two decades devoted to photographing African wildlife and former wild areas decimated by human development, he showed his fascination with the changing natural world, like the series of Inherit the Dust (2016) and This Empty World (2019). Often photographing animals in black-and-white or sepia tones, Brandt portrays his subjects as sentient creatures not so different from humans.

Issues of sustainability and climate change is one of the issues engaged in his practice. He lives and works in Copenhagen and Berlin.

Paul Morstad
Pau Morstad born and raised in the western provinces of BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan, while his longing for the Pacific Rim brought him back west to East Vancouver where he now lives and works. Whales and volcanoes are common elements in his works and he is known for his distinctive watercolor works depicting the relationship between humans and animals.

Rebecca Norris Webb
Rebecca Norris Webb explores the complicated relationship between people and the natural world in her eight books, including with her monographs The Glass Between Us (2006) and My Dakota (2012), with a solo exhibition of the latter at The Cleveland Museum of Art in 2015. Originally a poet, Norris Webb often interweaves her words images in her books. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, Le Monde, National Geographic, and is in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Cleveland Museum of Art, and The Museum of the City of New York. An NEA grant recipient, Rebecca has a new book, Night Calls, in which she retraced the route of some of her 100-year-old country doctor father’s house calls through the same rural county where they both were born.

Ting graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts of Hong Kong Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in 2014, and works primarily in the medium of painting. She enjoys observing quotidian scenes in life that are so often taken for granted. Her artistic practice revolves around piecing together these banal elements to create a microcosm of its own.
